Getting Started
Potomac College admits students who are high school
graduates or the equivalent thereof. Some students enter the Junior-Senior
Level (Upper Division) immediately, while others may have additional
prerequisites to complete. The procedure for the application process is as
follows:
1. Submit a completed application, a complete transcript request,
and the $15.00 application fee
2. Submit unofficial transcripts to accelerate the evaluation
process.
3. Submit scores from recognized college equivalency exams or workplace
training.

123 credits = Bachelors of Science Degree
63 Credits in major = All majors
General Education
must include:
6 in English Composition
3 in Introductory Psychology or Sociology
3 in Fundamentals of Mathematics
3 in College Algebra
3 in Arts or Humanities
3 in Physical Science
3 in Computer Science
3 in Research and Report Writing
9 in additional General Education credits
3 in Economics (Required for Management Programs, Recommended
for International Business Programs)
24 Elective credits
Credits can be from any accredited higher education
institution. Excess general education credits may be used to fulfill elective
requirements
Non traditional credits can be applied to any categoryabove but may not exceed
30.

Tuition
is payable on or before the first day of class of each module. Registration for
a course is not complete without payment or an approved payment schedule.
Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice. Tuition will not increase
for students’ continuously enrolled in their program.
Methods of Payment
Financial
Aid – receipt of Title IV funds is contingent upon eligibility requirements. Potomac College participates in the following
Title IV programs:
Pell Grant
Subsidized Stafford Load
Unsubsidized Stafford Loan
Employer
Tuition Benefits – many employers provide some form of tuition assistance. Each
company policy differs; therefore it is best for the student to seek information
from the personnel office. A copy of the company policy must be submitted for a
student’s file.
