What is Online Learning?
Online learning
is a method designed to learn and communicate through the
use of technology and offers an alternative platform to the seated classroom
setting. Students engage in open dialogue and share in discussions with
classmates and instructors to enhance the learning experience. The
asynchronous format allows students to work and study at their own pace in a
setting that is convenient.
FAQ(s)
Q. Do I need training before taking online
classes?
A. No advance training is needed to take
online classes. However, you should be comfortable using a computer and be
familiar with Microsoft tools and the Internet.
Q. How do I communicate with my instructor?
A. Each course Instructor will provide contact information at at the
beginning of the class. Students can post questions in the chat area or
send email directly to the Instructor to address a specific question, comment,
or concern.
Q. How soon can I begin online classes?
A. New students can begin classes immediately after completing
the Admissions process. Current students must meet with their Academic
Advisor to register for online classes.
