Student gathered information from a variety of quality electronic and print sources, including appropriate licensed databases. Sources are relevant, balanced and include critical readings relating to the topic or problem. (seven or more)-- Primary sources were included (if appropriate). Information is logically and creatively organized with smooth transitions.

Student carefully analyzed the information collected and drew appropriate and inventive conclusions supported by evidence. Voice of the student writer is evident in the application of concepts in this section.  All appendices were discussed and clearly were related to the project’s outcome.

Student documented all sources. Sources are properly cited, both in-text/in-product and on Works-Cited/Works-Consulted pages/slides. 

 

Reference page meets the required APA standards.

Student’s conclusions could be supported by stronger evidence. Level of analysis could have been deeper or had a  limited relationship to the project. There was a lack of clear linking between the project’s objective and materials included in the appendices.

Student needed to use greater care in documenting sources. Documentation was poorly constructed or absent in most cases.

The written document has grammar and spelling errors that cause a lack of understanding for the reader.  TAP forms are missing or the student failed to document the required effort, and this shows that the student did not devote adequate attention to this project.

Student showed little evidence of original work.  Product does not provide any tangible benefits for the workplace, or the final product is not the work of the student.
