CLEP

Potomac College is an open testing center for the CLEP Examinations. The total cost for each CLEP examination is $90.00. Sixty dollars ($65.00) goes to CLEP for the examination, and twenty five dollars ($25.00) goes to Potomac College for proctoring the examination. The CLEP examinations are given every Tuesday - one sitting at 4:30pm and one sitting at 7:00pm. The CLEP examinations are Internet based testing. The examinee receives his/her results immediately.

Registration Procedures

Check with your Institution/Organization as to the specific exam(s) that you need to take.
Two exams can be taken on each test date. If you take two examinations on the test date, one examination must be taken at 4:30pm and the other examination must be taken at 7:00pm.
No personal checks or cash accepted.
Method of Payment: One Money Order in the amount of $60.00 should be made payable to CLEP; the second Money Order in the amount of $25.00 should be made payable to Potomac College. Money order payments are accepted on the examination test date.
Credit card payments (Visa or MasterCard) must be approved before an exam is taken.Credit card payments will be accepted on the date of the examination. The test proctor will not administer an examination to an examinee whose credit card was declined.
Examinees need to arrive for the examination at least fifteen minutes before the examination is scheduled to begin. Late arrivals may be asked to reschedule the examination.
Examinees must present photo ID to the examiner before taking the exam.
No cell phone usage is permitted.
No eating or drinking is permitted during testing.
Potomac College is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged belonging.

Note: Online or walk in registration for each exam must be done one week prior to the examination date. When an online registration is submitted and a credit card payment is verified, an examinee is considered registered for the exam. No confirmation notice will be sent to the examinee. An examinee will be notified only if an extraordinary event occurs (bad weather, power failure, or computer failure) or if an examination is overbooked. If that happens, all efforts will be made to notify an examinee of test cancellation.

DSST Examinations

DSST Computerized Registration Form

Potomac College is an open testing center for the DSST Subject Standardized Tests. The total cost for each DSST examination is $90.00. Seventy dollars ($70.00) goes to DSST for the examination, and twenty dollars ($20.00) goes to Potomac College for proctoring the examination. The DSST examinations are Internet based testing. The examinee receives his/her results immediately.

Registration Procedures

Check with your Institution/Organization as to the specific exam(s) that you need to take.
Only one exam per test date may be scheduled.
Complete the online registration form below at least one week before the test date.
Visa and Master Card will be the only accepted form of payment for the DSST test ($70.00). No personal checks or cash accepted.
Method of Payment: The amount of $20.00 will be for the proctoring fee. The $20.00 proctoring fee is to be paid by Money Order only to Potomac College. When you take the examination you will be prompted by DSST to enter your credit card number for the amount of $70.00.

You will be assigned a User Name and Password on the day of the test. If you plan on taking more DSST computerized test in the future you will be required to remember your User Name and Password.
